Overview
Crossword Forge is an easy to use classroom style crossword and word search puzzle maker. Simply type in clue and answer pairs, and Crossword Forge will generate a puzzle for you.
Type your clue and answers into the puzzle editor. Change the font, style and color of your text. Clues can be
as long as you like, and the answer length is only limited by your puzzle size.
Choose to make a crossword puzzle or a word search. Options on the word search include: diagonal words, reversed words, and words guessed from the clues. The crossword puzzle also includes a "word bank" option, where answers can be chosen from a list.
Picture (or solid color) backdrops let you add more life to your puzzles. You can choose from 4 different placement styles for your pictures (Center, Tile, Stretch, or Scale).
Easily creates large and small puzzles, and everything in between. Make larger grid blocks for small children or the elderly. Make smaller ones to fit more on the page. Crossword Forge will also shrink the blocks automatically to fit them on the page.
Print your puzzles plus the answer key on any paper size when you have a licensed version of Crossword Forge. An unlicensed version will print only the answer key.
Export your puzzle to a picture and your clue/answer pairs to a text document. (Great for posting on the web!) Import tab delimited text files to offer more flexibility.
