Changing the Backdrop
Choose between a picture backdrop, a colored backdrop or no backdrop for your puzzle.
- Change the backdrop by clicking on the Backdrop tab within the Puzzle Editor.
- Select the No Backdrop button if you do not want a backdrop on your puzzle.
- Select the Solid Backdrop button if you want a solid color backdrop. Then click on the square next to Color to choose the color.
- Select the Picture Backdrop button if you would like to insert your own backdrop. Then click on New Picture to select the image* (BMP, GIF, JPEG, MacPaint, PICT, PNG, QuickTime Image Format, RGB Planar, SGI, Targa, TIFF) you wish to use. You can select the way the image is displayed using the drop down box under the New Picture button. The default is set to center the picture in the puzzle background.
- Now click Make Puzzle to create a puzzle using your backdrop options, or click one of the other option tabs in the Puzzle Editor to save your selection and continue editing the puzzle.
- *Note: BMP, JPEG, and GIF are supported on Windows without Quicktime.
PDFs as backdrop images are supported on Mac OS X only.
