Exporting a Puzzle

Crossword Forge has a variety of export options. Select Export from the File menu.

• Image Export
  • Crossword Forge will export a crossword or word search puzzle grid to an image file. Licensed users can export both the answer key and regular puzzle. Unlicensed users are restricted to exporting the answer key. See more details here.
• Text Export
  • Crossword Forge will export the text of the crossword or word search puzzle. The options include: unformatted, tab-delimited, answers only, clues only and grid. Unlicensed users cannot export the grid. See more details here.
• PDF Export
  • Crossword Forge will export the whole puzzle as seen in the Puzzle Preview window or just the puzzle grid. Unlicensed users are restricted to exporting the answer key. There are some limitations to the Crossword Forge PDF export. See more details here.
• Web Export (version 4.5)
  • Crossword Forge will export an interactive crossword puzzle to the web. Only licensed users can export to the web. See a sample here. See more details here.
