Adding a Movie to a Question
In version 1.5 and beyond, Quiz Press lets you add movies (Flash Video .flv) to each question.
You must be using version 1.5 or higher of Quiz Press to use this feature. You can download it here.
Method 1: Loading a Movie File (FLV)
- Find the question that you want to add a movie file (FLV) to (or create it).
- Click the Media button. A menu should appear. It's a button aligned with the right edge of the Question field and directly above it. (The blue-green image represents a painting of a sea-scape.)
- Choose Load Multimedia File... A file browser dialog should appear.
- Windows: Change the filter to show FLV files (i.e. Choose "Flash Movie File (*.flv )" ).
Mac: Skip this step, any available FLV files show automatically.
- Select the FLV file and dismiss the dialog.
- You can't preview your FLV file from within Quiz Press, but it's there.
Method 2: Using Drag and Drop.
- Find the question that you want to add a movie file (FLV) to (or create it).
- Drag and drop the FLV file onto the right hand side of the Quiz Press window.
- You can't preview your FLV file from within Quiz Press, but it's there.
Method 3: Using the Clipboard (a.k.a. Copy and Paste).
Note: Currently this method only works on Mac OS X.
- Copy the movie file (FLV) file to the clipboard from the Finder.
- Find the question that you want to add the FLV to (or create it).
- Click the Media button. A menu should appear. It's a button aligned with the right edge of the Question field and directly above it. (The blue-green image represents a painting of a sea-scape.)
- Choose Paste Multimedia From Clipboard.
- You can't preview your FLV file from within Quiz Press, but it's there.
